"Natalie" was Reserve Winner's Bitch two consecutive days at the 2010 CKCSC-USA National Specialty in Mason, Ohio. Judges were Mr. Ted Eubank, Pinecrest, USA and Mr. Robert Lamont, Moorfields, Ireland.  

The same weekend Natalie's half-brother, Orchard Hill Tough Enough, was Best Puppy in show under breeder-judges Robert and Heather Lamont. "Paddington" earned his Junior Warrant with this win.

In March 2011 Paddington won his first CKCSC-USA major under breeder-judge Brenda Martz (Brookhaven, USA.)
The following weekend Paddington finished his AKC Championship with five-point majors at the Meadowlands CKCSC Specialty and a Best of Breed win over Specials.




Also finishing her championship with three majors was Paddington's tricolor litter sister, "Next Stop, Wonderland."

Flash! April 8, 2011: At the Cavaliers of the Mid-West show in Indianapolis, Indiana, Orchard Hill Tough Enough, J.W. wins Best in Show under Breed-Specialist Mr. Dale Martin to finish his CKCSC-USA Championship in style. The following day "Tough Enough" earned Reserve Best in Show under noted British all-arounder Mr. Frank Kane to add the icing to the cake.

"Tough Enough" is by top-producing Eng. Ch. Pascavale Enchanted, ROM ex our own Best in Specialty Show bitch Ch. Orchard Hill Never Grow Up, ROM. "Wendy" is the dam of seven AKC Champions and six CKCSC-USA Champions, a CKCSC-USA record.

We deeply appreciate Wendy's enormous contribution to our breeding program.














Orchard Hill is pleased to welcome Avalcier Princeton and Avalcier Amber, both co-owned with their breeders, Ming and Katherine Li of Avalcier in the UK.

Both dogs have done well here in the States, with Princeton winning Reserve Best in Show at his first CKCSC-USA Specialty and Amber winning two Awards of Merit at the CKCSC-USA National Specialty in October, 2010.

Amber and Princeton are both major-pointed in the AKC, with Amber winning under respected breeder-judges Lucy Koster (Harana, UK) and Meredith Snyder (Rattlebridge, US.)

We cannot thank Ming and Katherine enough for sharing these two lovely dogs with us.





The breeding of two specialty-winning Cavaliers continues to prove itself in the show ring:

All-Breed Best in Show CKCSC-USA/AKC Ch. Orchard Hill Shirmont Back Talk, J. W.

"Back Talk" is the AKC's # 3 Cavalier for 2010 with an All-Breed Best in Show and two Toy Specialty Bests in Show wins to his credit. (Co-owned with Bruce and Shirley Henry, Shirmont.)

Three Orchard Hill Cavaliers distinguished themselves at the Cavaliers of the South show in Atlanta  in April 2008.
 

New Champion Orchard Hill Outspoken, J.W, finished her Junior Warrant under US breeder-judge Barbara Grimm Curley and walked away with Best in Show, handled by Rachel.

Orchard Hill Sunday Shoes won her class all three days and won an Award of Merit on Sunday under Irish breeder-judge Mr. Robert Lamont (Moorfields.)  That same day her kennel-mate Ch. Orchard Hill  Duly Noted, J.W. was Best in Show.  






2008 CKCSC National weekend, in Tarrytown, New York, Orchard Hill Easier Said (Elise) was Best Puppy in Sweeps under USA Judge Mrs. Vanessa Weber (Kenjockety.)
 

At the Trudy Albrecht Memorial Rally Elise was Best Puppy Bitch and Award of Merit under noted UK breeder-judge Mr. Gordon Inglis (Craigowl.)  The following day she was Best Puppy in Show under UK breeder judge Mrs. Lorraine Gillhespy.  




Saturday was also a big day for Orchard Hill Sunday Shoes: “Mary Jane” won her second major and finished her CKCSC Championship under Mr. Gordon Inglis of the UK. (Craigowl.)  Mary Jane is the fourth CKCSC Champion for her dam, Ch. Orchard Hill Party Shoes.






Orchard Hill Cavaliers were well represented in New York City Westminster Week, February, 2008.   On Friday at the Progressive Toy Dog Specialty  little Elise (Orchard Hill Easier Said) was Reserve Winner’s Bitch,  Best Puppy and Puppy Group Three for her AKC debut.

On Sunday Elise was Best in Sweeps under Father  Bryan Timby  and  Winner’s Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed over all the Specials under UK breeder-judge Mr. Peter Hill (Montcolly).

Her dam, Ch. Orchard Hill Where’s The Party?, won First  Award of Merit in a quality-packed entry.






Rocky wins the Breed at The Garden!

2008 Westminster - Ch. Pinecrest Orchard Hill Rock The Boat won the Breed for the second time, handled by his breeder and co-owner Ted Eubank.  

Ch. Where’s The Party was Best of Opposite Sex, the third time an Orchard Hill bitch has won this honor.

In an entry of well-over 300 Cavaliers Rocky won Best of Breed at the ACKCSC National Specialty 2007 under British breeder-judge Di Fry of Amantra Cavaliers.

Best of Opposite Sex to Rocky was USA-AKC Ch. Orchard Hill Party Shoes, winning the honor for the second time, the first being in 2004 under British breeder-judge Mrs. Mollie Coker (Homerbrent).








Good things come in small packages:  introducing our newest homebred youngster, Orchard Hill Easier Said.  


At the November CKCSC-USA Specialty little “Elise” was Best Puppy in Sweeps under U.S. Breeder Judge Pam Burkley and Best Puppy Bitch under both Swedish Breeder Judge Jan Tornblom and U.S. Breeder Judge Brenda Martz  (Brookhaven).

It is now CKCSC-USA/Can. Ch. Orchard Hill Here for the Party. “Kelly” won his first major at the CKCSC-USA Specialty in November and finished his championship his next time out, winning his second major under breeder-judge Mrs. Miriam Lovett. 

Another Orchard Hill champion finished at the Cavaliers of the South Specialty in Atlanta Georgia in April.  Ch. Orchard Hill Fox in Socks is the third CKCSC-USA Champion for her dam, Ch. Orchard Hill Party Shoes.

“Blossom” gained her CKCSC title by winning Reserve Best in Show under breeder-judge Mrs. Joan Twigg at the November CNE Specialty in York, PA. She is the third CKCSC-USA Champion for her sire, Ch. Sheeba Special Inspiration at Orchard Hill.




Am/Can Ch. Orchard Hill Surprise Party has earned her Register of Merit with the completion of her fifth champion daughter, Ch. Orchard Hill Brookhaven Bliss. 

Two more AKC Champions in 2007 have brought Cozy’s total to seven Champion offspring. Two of these are CKCSC-USA Champions as well.




CKCSC-USA/AKC Ch. Orchard Hill Never Grow Up has made  Breed history for Cavalier bitches by winning a total of four AKC Cavalier Specialties and finishing up 2006 as the fifth top-winning Cavalier in the country. 

Wendy had remained a consistent third throughout the year until she retired in October for maternal duties.




Our young tricolor homebred Orchard Hill Duly Noted has been very well-received, winning Best Puppy in Show at both the Cavaliers of the West show in Pleasanton, California and the Cavaliers of the South show in Atlanta, Georgia. “Micah” has won “Best Puppy” under breeder-judges Mr. Alan Hall and Mr. Dick Terry, both of the UK. Rachel has been working with “Micah’ and handled him to both of these wins.

"Griffin" finished his Championship with three majors for co-owners John Cigler and Pat McCoy, handled by Ernesto Lara and the Green Team. Griffin is sired by CKCSC/Am/Can Ch. Sheeba Special Inspiration at Orchard Hill ex CKCSC/Am/Can Ch.Orchard Hill Where's The Party?
